How the restaurant came to be: Tony has always wanted to own a restaurant. Tony’s parents are from Persia, and he learned to cook from his grandmother, father, mother, and aunt. Hasmik is Armenian.
Tony and Hasmik chose Phoenix because Tony’s best friend is from there. They opened the restaurant on 16th Street in the Coronado neighborhood. Challenges they faced: Opening the restaurant during the COVID-19 pandemic, The large investment, Limited number of people opening businesses, Rising inflation, and Shortages of labor and products.
