This research demonstrates that romantic love is not a uniform global experience but manifests in individuals with entirely different intensities and qualities. According to the researchers, these differences are not solely tied to personality traits and lifestyle but may also indicate the ongoing evolution of how humans express love. Mr. Bode states: “For the first time, we’ve managed to compile the largest database on the experience of romantic love, and this research could pave the way for new studies in understanding human relationships, family, and culture.” The results of this study have been published in the scientific journal Personality and Individual Differences.
