1) Moderate Lovers: The largest group The largest group, comprising more than 40% of participants, consisted of “moderate lovers.” They exhibit low emotional intensity, few obsessive thoughts about their romantic partner, relatively high commitment, and a moderate frequency of sexual activity. Adam Bode, a PhD researcher at the Australian National University and the lead investigator of this study, says: “This group is the most ordinary and common type of lover. Most of them are men, and their behavior falls within the normal range.”
