NUFDI Nowrooz Gala 2025

For many centuries, Persians have marked the end of winter as the beginning of a New Year. Their celebration of this occasion, known as Norooz—literally “New Day”, in English—has served to renew the bonds that unite the families and communities that make up the our Nation. The Norooz Gala is the premier celebration of the Persian New Year and Persian heritage, arts, and culture. The evening will include multiple uplifting and inspiring Persian musical performances, both classical and contemporary.

It will also offer ample time for mingling and celebrating Norooz with friends, new and old. We’re very excited to host our fourth annual Gala in California for the first time. As part of our program this year, we will pay a special tribute to and honor prominent activists inside the country and share the stories of their bravery. We will also seek the renewal of your support for the frontline work that NUFDI is doing to engage and mobilize the Persian-American community. We hope that you will join us for an inspiring and uplifting evening, during which we will renew our bonds of unity and our commitment to action, to bring about the end of Countries’s long winter, and the dawn of its rebirth are near. This year, the Gala will feature emcee Shally Zomorodi along with a musical performance by Rana Mansour!
