New study results on reducing premature skin aging

The study also demonstrated that ABT-263 selectively reduced the number of senescent cells in aging mice without affecting young cells. This indicates that the drug is particularly effective on aged tissues where damaged cells accumulate. Furthermore, since ABT-263 was applied directly to the skin, it did not exhibit the common side effects associated with oral senolytic drugs.

Currently, while we cannot fully reverse aging, there are various approaches and treatments aimed at mitigating the effects of aging on the skin and promoting repair. Here are some methods and reference studies:

1) Senolytics 2) Topical Retinoids 3) Growth Factors and Peptides 4) Stem Cell Therapies 5)Laser and Light Therapies 6)Antioxidants

These treatments and studies represent a spectrum of approaches, from pharmacological interventions to cosmetic procedures, aimed at addressing skin aging. However, it’s important to note that while these can improve skin appearance and function, they do not stop or reverse the biological process of aging itself. For the most current research, a search might be needed to find the latest studies or clinical trials. Would you like to do a search for more recent or specific studies?
