First Car Exhibition After lifting of the Import Ban

After the ban on importing non-Chinese cars was lifted, the International Car Exhibition is being held.

The 6th Tehran International Auto Show hosts 44 local and foreign car manufacturers. This year’s exhibition is more appealing to car enthusiasts due to countries decision last year to lift the multi-year import ban.

Many people are eager for big names like Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Kia, and Hyundai, as well as several European brands, to return to the local market. Sajjad Mohammadi, a resident of the captial who visited the exhibition, said, “It’s good to see that car imports are once again allowed, and we can see other products besides Chinese cars that can compete with local manufacturers.”
