A charming Swede who breaks records as easily as drinking water

Armand Duplantis has become a unique phenomenon in the world of sports—an attractive athlete who has not only achieved a special economic status but has also brought prominence to his specialized sport. The Swedish track and field superstar broke the pole vault world record for the eleventh time. The two-time Olympic champion, who has now ventured into the world of singing as well, is said to improve his record centimeter by centimeter, largely for economic reasons.

On Saturday, at the Clermont-Ferrand competition in France, Armand Duplantis once again broke his own pole vault world record with a jump of 6.27 meters, improving it by one centimeter. This marks the eleventh time the exceptional 25-year-old Swedish athlete has set a new world record in this event.
