The Psychology of Love

Researchers, in their study examining the romantic relationships of 809 young people, have identified four main types of lovers, reflecting the intensity of love, the frequency of sexual relationships, and the level of commitment in romantic relationships. This study, based on data from the “Global Romantic Love Survey,” the largest database in the world on the experience of romantic love, included participants from 33 countries with diverse cultural backgrounds. According to the researchers, the results revealed four major types of lovers:
